Three friends, who have a habit of troubling their wives, save a wealthy woman from an accident and lie about being single in order to marry her, leading to their wives deciding to teach them a lesson. Venkateswaralayam was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) V. Sumankumar. The movie is directed by Pushpavasagan. Sri was released on 15th February 2002 and takes a screen time of 148 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sri was made on a budget of $139 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $825 million. Cinematography was done by S. R. Ganesan and editing by Vinod. The music was composed by T. S. Muralidharan.
