A family of spies must rescue their kidnapped parents, battle against an evil TV host, and save the world from robots while uncovering secrets about their own past. Spy Kids is a 2001 American English-language Action Adventure motion picture featuring Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Alan Cumming, Teri Hatcher, Cheech Marin, Danny Trejo and Phillip Wolf. Troublemaker Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Elizabeth Avell N and Robert Rodriguez. The motion picture is written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. Dimension Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Spy Kids was released on 17th May 2001 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Spy Kids was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $147 million. Cinematography was done by Guillermo Navarro and editing by Robert Rodriguez. The music was composed by Danny Elfman along with Gavin Greenaway, Heitor Pereira, John Debney, Robert Rodriguez, Los Lobos and Harry Gregson-williams.
