A wild stallion is captured by humans and slowly loses the will to resist training. Yet throughout his struggles for freedom, the stallion refuses to let go of the hope of one day returning home to his herd. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is a 2002 American English-language Animation Adventure motion picture starring Matt Damon, James Cromwell, Daniel Studi, Chopper Bernet, Jeff Lebeau, John Rubano and Kambiz Shabankare. DreamWorks Animation was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jeffrey Katzenberg and Mireille Soria. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is written by John Fusco and Michael Lucker and it is directed by Kelly Asbury and Lorna Cook. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron was released on 24th May 2002 and takes a screen time of 84 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
