In two different cities, a mask with magical powers causes chaos and mischief, leading to a confrontation between a man who possesses the mask and the god who created it, ultimately resulting in reconciliation and success. Son of the Mask is a 2005 English-language Comedy Family film starring Jamie Kennedy, Alan Cumming, Traylor Howard, Steven Wright, Kal Penn, Bob Hoskins and Craig Walker. The movie is inspired from The Mask by John Arcudi Chris Warner Doug Mahnke. Radar Pictures in association with Dark Horse Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Scott Kroopf and Erica Huggins. Son of the Mask is written by Lance Khazei and directed by Lawrence Guterman. New Line Cinema acquired the distribution rights for the film. Son of the Mask was released on 30th September 2022 and takes a screen time of 94 minutes. Son of the Mask was made on a budget of $84 million and at the box office it grossed only $59 million. Cinematography was done by Greg Gardiner and editing by Malcolm Campbell, John Coniglio and Debra Neil Fisher. The music was composed by Randy Edelman.
