The movie is inspired from New Testament. Lightworkers Media was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Roma Downey and Mark Burnett. The movie is directed by Christopher Spencer. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Son of God was released on 28th February 2014 and takes a screen time of 138 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Son of God was made on a budget of $22 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $70 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Richard Bedser, Christopher Spencer, Colin Swash and Nic Young. Cinematography was done by Rob Goldie and editing by Robert Hall.
