Soldier Blue

Two survivors of an attack by the Cheyenne in Colorado Territory in 1877 have to make it to Fort Reunion while facing various challenges along the way, but ultimately, the US army attacks a peaceful Cheyenne village and commits brutal atrocities. Soldier Blue is a 1970 American English-language Western movie starring Candice Bergen, Peter Strauss, Donald Pleasence, John Anderson, Jorge Rivero, Dana Elcar and Lauren Currier. The movie is inspired from Arrow in the Sun by Theodore V. Olsen. Katzka-Loeb was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gabriel Katzka and Harold Loeb. The movie is directed by Ralph Nelson. Embassy Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Soldier Blue was released on 25th September 1970 and takes a screen time of 115 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $1 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by John Gay.
