In a frozen world, the survivors on the train Snowpiercer stage a rebellion led by Curtis to take control of the front compartments, encountering resistance and uncovering hidden intentions, until they finally escape as the train derails, witnessing signs of life beyond the train. Snowpiercer is a 2013 English-language Action Drama film featuring Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner and Brad Jones. The movie is inspired from Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob Benjamin Legrand Jean-Marc Rochette. Snowpiercer was Produced by Park Chan-wook, Jeong Tae-sung, Steven Nam and Lee Tae-hun. Snowpiercer is written by Joon-ho Bong, Kelly Masterson, Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-marc Rochette and it is directed by Joon-ho Bong and Bong Joon-ho. CJ Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Snowpiercer was released on 1st August 2013 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Snowpiercer was made on a budget of $40 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $86 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Bong Joon-ho and Kelly Masterson. Cinematography was done by Hong Kyung-pyo and editing by Steve M. Choe and Kim Chang-ju. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami.
