A tough debate erupts in the Andhra Pradesh state assembly over the long pending murder case of Visakhapatnam City Police Commissioner, leading to the recruitment of a new DCP from Tamil Nadu who uncovers corruption while investigating the case. Singam 3 is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language Action Thriller motion picture featuring Shruti Haasan, Anushka Shetty, Thakur Anoop Singh, Suriya Sivakumar, Nasser, Neetu Chandra and Saran Shakthi. Studio Green in association with Pen Movies and Aadnah Arts. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. E. Gnanavel Raja and Dhaval Jayantilal Gada. The movie is written and directed by Hari Gopalakrishnan. Pen India Limited acquired the distribution rights for the film. Singam 3 was released on 9th February 2017 and takes a screen time of 154 minutes. Singam 3 was made on a budget of ₹90 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹110 crore. Cinematography was done by Priyan and editing by V. T. Vijayan. The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj.
