In a city of anthropomorphic animals, a theater owner organizes a singing competition to save his theater, leading to personal growth and challenges for the participants, while showcasing the transformative power of music and bringing hope and inspiration to all involved. Sing is a 2016 American English-language Animation Comedy film featuring Matthew Mcconaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth Macfarlane, Scarlett Johansson, Nick Kroll, John C. Reilly and Arlo Mcgowan. Illumination Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Christopher Meledandri, Janet Healy and Chris Meledandri. Sing is written by Garth Jennings and directed by Garth Jennings and Christophe Lourdelet. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Sing was released on 30th December 2016 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Sing was made on a budget of $75 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. Editing was done by Gregory Perler. The music was composed by Joby Talbot.
