Simmarasi

A man named Manickavasagam intervenes in a caste fight in a village and is persuaded to stay and resolve conflicts, leading to a clash with the villages notorious figure Maragatham, who killed his own brother for marrying outside their caste, while a man named Kathir, who is the son of Lakshmi, wants to construct a factory, creating opposition from Manickavasagam until Kathir joins forces with Maragatham, but ultimately, Manickavasagam kills Maragatham.
