Simla Special

Two friends in a comedy troupe perform plays for Tamilians in Simla, one hides a telegram about his mothers serious illness, and although they break off their friendship, they ultimately reconcile when the mother recovers. Simla Special is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language Drama Comedy movie starring Kamal Haasan, S. V. Shekher, Y. G. Mahendran, Y.g. Mahendran, Aachi Manorama, S. Ve. Sekar and S. Rama Rao. Muktha Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Muktha V. Ramaswamy. Simla Special is written by Visu and directed by Muktha V. Srinivasan and Muktha Srinivasan. Muktha Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Simla Special was released on 14th April 1982. Cinematography was done by M. Karnan and editing by V. P. Krishnan, and C. R. Shanmugam. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan.
