After a terrorist attack by ISIS, a CIA officer is enlisted to start a conflict between Mexican drug cartels suspected of aiding the terrorists, and with the help of an operative they capture the daughter of a drug kingpin but face unexpected challenges during their mission. Sicario: Day of the Soldado is a 2018 American English-language Action Crime film starring Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Isabela Moner, Jeffrey Donovan, Manuel Garcia-rulfo, Catherine Keener and Francisco Peramos. Columbia Pictures in association with Black Label Media and Thunder Road Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Basil Iwanyk, Thad Luckinbill, Basil Iwanyk Sr., Edward L. Mcdonnell, Molly Smith and Trent Luckinbill. Sicario: Day of the Soldado is written by Taylor Sheridan and directed by Stefano Sollima. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Sicario: Day of the Soldado was released on 6th July 2018 and takes a screen time of 122 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sicario: Day of the Soldado was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $75 million. Director Sollima may have a rather curious view of geopolitics, and may even seem to justify the angle from which Donald Trump seems to see it, through the prism of the Mexico border, but halfway through, in a subversion that only dawns you gradually, Day of the Soldado ends up being a Mexican film.
