A villager named Vichare takes his grandson Parshuraam to a doctor in Pune, where they learn that Parshuraam has retinoblastoma and needs an operation that will leave him blind, leading Vichare to strive to show his grandson the world before the surgery. Shwaas is a 2004 Indian Marathi-language Drama movie starring Arun Nalawade, Ashwin Chitale, Sandeep Kulkarni, Amruta Subhash, Vibhawari Deshpande, Ashwini Giri and Sandeep Pathak. Shwaas was Produced by Arun Nalawade, Sandeep Sawant, Devidas Bapat, Rajan Cheulkar, Mohan Parab, Nareshchandra Jain, V. R. Nayak and Deepak Choudhary. The movie is directed by Sandeep Sawant. Kathi Arts acquired the distribution rights for the film. Shwaas was released on 1st January 2004 and takes a screen time of 107 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Shwaas was made on a budget of ₹60 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹2 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sandeep Sawant. Cinematography was done by Sanjay K. Memane and editing by Neeraj Voralia. The music was composed by Bhaskar Chandavarkar. At the 2004 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Film. At the 2004 National Film Awards It also won an award for Best Child Artist.
