An aspiring filmmaker plans to make a movie with his struggling actor friend as the lead, but when he changes his mind, the friend steals the filmmakers script and achieves success, prompting the filmmaker to seek revenge and eventually find success himself, while the friend continues to fail. Shortkut - The Con Is On is written by Anees Bazmee and Neeraj Vora and it is directed by Neeraj Vora. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film.
