Shobaraj

Baasha follows the story of Shobhraj, a ruthless leader of an underworld syndicate, who is killed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police but whose blood brother Dharmaraj impersonates him and struggles to prove his identity and innocence amidst a web of confusion and revenge. Shobaraj is a 1986 Indian Malayalam-language Action Crime motion picture starring T. G. Ravi, K. P. Ummer, Anto Joseph, C.i. Paul, Priya, T.g. Ravi and Mohanlal Viswanathan. The movie is inspired from Don by Salim Javed. Shirdi Sai Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) P. K. R. Pillai. Shobaraj is written by Vijayan Karote and directed by J Sasikumar and J. Sasikumar. Shirdi Sai Release acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Shobaraj was released on 6th December 1986. Cinematography was done by N. A. Thara and editing by G. Venkittaraman. The music was composed by Gemini along with L. Vaidyanathan.
