Shob Charitro Kalponik was Produced by Mahesh Ramanathan. Shob Charitro Kalponik is written by Rituparno Ghosh and Shohini Ghosh and it is directed by Rituparno Ghosh. Big Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Shob Charitro Kalponik was released on 28th August 2009. Cinematography was done by Soumik Haldar and editing by Arghakamal Mitra. The music was composed by Raja Narayan Deb along with Sanjoy Das. At the 2009 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Feature Film in Bengali.
