Shiva

After being accused of cheating in a horse race, a jockey teams up with an investigative reporter to discover that three businessmen were responsible for drugging his horse, but when they kill the reporter and his family, their daughter seeks revenge years later by killing one of the businessmens sons, which leads to the revelation that the jockeys supposed son is not actually his, but an informant seeking to bring down the businessmen, resulting in a final conflict that leads to the death of the three businessmen and the avenging of the families deaths. Shiva is a 2012 Indian Kannada-language Drama film featuring Shiva Rajkumar, Ragini Dwivedi, Shivarajkumar, Rangayana Raghu, Gurudutt, Ravi Kale and Mico Nagaraj. Company Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. P. Srikanth, R. Srinivas and Kantharaj. Shiva is written by M. S. Ramesh and directed by Om Prakash Rao. Ramu Enterprises acquired the distribution rights for the film. Shiva was released on 24th August 2012 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. Shiva was made on a budget of ₹103 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹84 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Omprakash rao. Cinematography was done by Satya Hegde and editing by Deepu. S. Kumar. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Gurukiran Shetty.
