Shiva

A slum-dweller seeks revenge against a ruthless gangster who has seized power over the government of Maharashtra and becomes the chief minister of the state, stealing all of Maharashtras money, but with the help of other ordinary people, he fights to overthrow his corrupt rule. Shiva is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime motion picture starring Mohit Ahlawat, Nisha Kothari, Dilip Prabhawalkar, Upendra Limaye, Nagesh Bhonsle, Suchitra Pillai and Vishnu Nair. RGV Film Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ram Gopal Varma. Shiva is written by Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Dev Kohli, Nitin Raikwar, Sajid and Sajid-farhad and it is directed by Ram Gopal Varma. 20th Television acquired the distribution rights for the film. Shiva was released on 15th September 2006. Shiva was made on a budget of ₹103 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹84 crore. Cinematography was done by Amal Neerad and editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja.
