A young man named Vijay seeks to fulfill his late fathers dream of becoming a collector, but encounters obstacles including a love interest, suspicions of his parents murder, and a dangerous gangster, eventually uncovering the truth and avenging his parents death. Shastra is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama motion picture featuring Sunil Shetty, Anjali Jathar, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa, Mohan Joshi, Mukesh Rishi and Brijesh Tiwari. Shastra was Produced by Nadir Irani and Nadeem Irani. Shastra is written by Rumi Jaffery, Imtiaz Patel, Yunus Sajawal and Rumi Jaffry and it is directed by Sanjay Khanna. Shastra was released on 4th October 1996 and takes a screen time of 144 mins. Shastra was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹4 crore. Cinematography was done by Najeeb Khan and Teja and editing by Yusuf Khan. The music was composed by Aadesh Shrivastava.
