Sharada

A young man named Shekhar falls in love with a poor girl named Sharada, but after an accident and a long recovery, he discovers that she has married his own father, leading to a complicated situation when he eventually marries another woman named Chanchal who uncovers their past love. Sharada is a 1957 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance movie featuring Raj Kapoor, Meena Kumari, Shyama, Raj Mehra, Anita Guha, Meena Kumari Bano and Vinod Mehra. Sharada is written by Vishwamitter Adil, Inder Raj Anand, Pinisetty and Sadasivabrahmam Vempati and it is directed by L.v. Prasad. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Sharada was released on 1st January 1957. The movie made a box office gross of ₹50 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Inder Raj Anand. Cinematography was done by M.W. Mukadam and editing by Shivaji Awdhut. The music was composed by C. Ramchandra along with Rajinder Krishan.
