Shakti: The Power

Shakti: The Power is a 2002 Hindi-language Action Drama movie written by Krishna Vamshi, Kamal Pandey and Krishna Vamsi. The movie is directed by Krishna Vamshi and Krishna Vamsi and produced by Sridevi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor And Sridevi under the banner of Sridevi Productions. A couple visits the husband's family in India and finds itself in the middle of a fratricidal battle. Shakti: the power features Karisma Kapoor in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Nana Patekar, Sanjay Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Jai Gidwani, Deepti Naval and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The music was composed by Ismail Darbar along with Mani Sharma. Cinematography was done by Sethu Sriram and editing by Shrish Kunder. The film has a running time of 177 minutes. It was released on 20th September 2002. The Film was successful at box office. Shakti: The Power was made on a budget of ₹10 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹13 crore. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Eros International.
