Shaapit is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language Horror Romance motion picture featuring Aditya Narayan, Rahul Dev, Shweta Agarwal, Shubh Joshi, Murli Sharma, Nishigandha Wad and Yash Ahlawat. ASA Productions and Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vikram Bhatt and Manmohan D Singh. Shaapit is written by Vikram Bhatt, Girish Dhamija, Aditya Narayan Jha, Dheeraj Rattan, Samee Siddiqui, Najam Sheraz and Vrushali Telang and it is directed by Vikram Bhatt. ASA Productions and Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the film. Shaapit was released on 19th March 2010 and takes a screen time of 136 minutes. Shaapit was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹7 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Girish Dhamija. Cinematography was done by Pravin Bhatt and editing by Kuldeep Mehan. The music was composed by Aditya Narayan Jha along with Najam Sheraz and Chirantan Bhatt.
