Jackie Moon, the owner-coach-player of the American Basketball Association s Flint Michigan Tropics, rallies his teammates to make their NBA dreams come true Semi-Pro is a 2008 American English-language Comedy Sport motion picture featuring Will Ferrell, Woody Harrelson, Andr Benjamin, Maura Tierney, Will Arnett, David Koechner and Jessica Rokitski. Mosaic Media Group in association with The Donner s Company. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jimmy Miller. Semi-Pro is written by Scot Armstrong and directed by Kent Alterman. New Line Cinema acquired the distribution rights for the film. Semi-Pro was released on 20th March 2008 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. Semi-Pro was made on a budget of $55 million and at the box office it grossed only $44 million. Cinematography was done by Shane Hurlbut and editing by Debra Neil-Fisher and Peter Teschner. The music was composed by Theodore Shapiro.
