mathurai is a village love story. Marudhu (Geethan) is in love with Poorni (Varsha Bollamma), a college student, and stalks her until she accepts his love. Trouble comes when Poorni s family is dead against their love, considering Marudhu a wastrel. Seemathurai is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language Romance Drama movie featuring Geethan Britto and Varsha Bollamma. Buvan Media Works was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) E. Sujaykrishnaa. The movie is written and directed by Santhosh Thyagarajan. Seemathurai was released on 7th December 2018. Cinematography was done by Gnana Samantham and editing by Veera Senthilraj. The music was composed by Jose Franklin.
