After the death of Voodoo queen Mama Loa, an adopted apprentice named Lisa is chosen to succeed her, and her true heir Willis seeks revenge by using voodoo to resurrect the vampire Blacula, but accidentally gets bitten himself and becomes a vampire, leading ex-police officer Justin Carter to investigate and Lisa to try to cure Willis, ultimately resulting in a showdown where Lisa refuses to help Willis and he is defeated. Scream Blacula Scream is a 1973 American English-language Fantasy Horror motion picture starring William H. Marshall, Don Mitchell, Pam Grier, Michael Conrad, Bernie Hamilton, Richard Lawson and Leoda Richards. Power Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Joseph T. Naar. Scream Blacula Scream is written by Joan Torres, Raymond Koenig and Maurice Jules and it is directed by Bob Kelljan. American International Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Scream Blacula Scream was released on 27th June 1973 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $1 million. Cinematography was done by Isidore Mankofsky and editing by Fabien D. Tordjmann. The music was composed by Bill Marx.
