Saving Sally

An amateur comic book artist forms a close friendship with a gadget inventor who helps him get revenge on a bully, develops feelings for her despite her being in a relationship, pitches a successful comic book idea inspired by their experiences, becomes depressed when she starts dating someone else, but fate brings them back together in college, leading to a reunion and realization of mutual feelings, before Marty discovers and encourages Sally to escape from her abusive parents, starting a new life together with Marty supporting her financially. The movie is inspired from Saving Sally by Charlene Sawit-Esguerra. Saving Sally was Produced by Avid Liongoren, Herv Pennequin, Alain De La Mata and Catherine Jaques. The movie is directed by Avid Liongoren. Solar Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Saving Sally was released on 14th October 2020 and takes a screen time of 94 minutes.
