The movie is inspired from Ward Allen: Savannah River Market Hunter by John Eugene Cay Jr. Unclaimed Freight Productions in association with Meddin Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Annette Haywood-carter, Randall Miller and Jody Savin. Savannah is written by Ken Carter, Annette Haywood-carter and John Eugene Cay Jr. and it is directed by Annette Haywood-carter. Ketchup Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film.
