In a supermarket called Shopwells, anthropomorphic grocery items believe that humans are gods leading them to a perfect place called the Great Beyond, but when a jar of honey mustard warns them that it is not what it seems, they embark on a journey to find proof and discover the truth, leading to a battle against humans and a realization that they are animated characters in another dimension. Sausage Party was Produced by Conrad Vernon, Megan Ellison, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Sausage Party is written by Ariel Shaffir, Kyle Hunter and Jonah Hill and it is directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Sausage Party was released on 6th October 2016 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sausage Party was made on a budget of $19 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $140 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Kyle Hunter, Ariel Shaffir, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Editing was done by Kevin Pavlovic. The music was composed by Alan Menken along with Christopher Lennertz.
