Saudagar

Two boys become best friends despite their different family backgrounds, but their enmity flares up after a tragedy, and their grandchildren fall in love, prompting them to reconcile and save their region from a nefarious villain. Saudagar is written by Sachin Bhowmick, Subhash Ghai and Kamlesh Pandey and it is directed by Subhash Ghai. Mukta Arts acquired the distribution rights for the film. Saudagar was released on 9th August 1991 and takes a screen time of 213 min. Cinematography was done by Ashok Mehta and editing by Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirali. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Laxmikant Pyarelal.
