A satirical comedy-thriller set in pre-independence India, where an unsuspecting protagonist named Vamanrao Ashtaputre unintentionally becomes a revolutionary, highlighting the struggle of common Indians living under British rule. Sandook is a 2015 Indian Marathi-language Comedy Drama film starring Sumeet Raghavan, Bhargavi Chirmule, Sharad Ponkshe, Arun Nalawade, Rahul Mehendale, Vidyadhar Bhave and Shantanu Gangane. Sandook was Produced by Vishwajit Gaikwad and Mandar Keni. Sandook is written by Atul Kale, Subodh Khanolkar and Ashish Raikar and it is directed by Atul Kale. Sandook was released on 5th June 2015 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ashish Raikar. Editing was done by Sarvesh Parab. The music was composed by Ajit-samir.
