Private investigator Samrat investigates mysterious events involving the death of a horse, withering plants, and illness of a family member and discovers that Sanjay, the stepson, is the murderer seeking revenge against his father. Samrat & Co is written by Kaushik Ghatak, Manish Shrivastav, Sanjay Masoom and Manish Srivastav and it is directed by Kaushik Ghatak. Rajshri Productions acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Samrat & Co was released on 25th April 2014. Samrat & Co was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹1 crore. Cinematography was done by Sanjay Malwankar and editing by Nipun Gupta.
