Samba migrated to France ten years ago from Senegal, and has since been plugging away at various lowly jobs.. Samba is a 2014 French-language Comedy Drama film featuring Omar Sy, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Tahar Rahim, Iz A Higelin, Izïa Higelin, Issaka Sawadogo and George Varsimashvili. The movie is based on Samba pour la France by Delphine Coulin. Canal+ in association with Gaumont, Korokoro, Quad Films, Ten Films and TF1 Films Production. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Nicolas Duval-adassovsky, Laurent Zeitoun and Yann Zenou. Samba is written by Eric Toledano, Olivier Nakache, Delphine Coulin and Muriel Coulin and it is directed by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano. Gaumont acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Samba was released on 15th October 2014 in French,Arabic,English,Portuguese,Russian and Serbian languages and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Samba was made on a budget of $19 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $39 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano. Cinematography was done by St phane Fontaine and editing by Dorian Rigal-Ansous. The music was composed by Ludovico Einaudi.
