Samadhi

A retired dacoit turns to his old ways to save his wife suffering from cancer, accidentally kills a child while kidnapping for ransom, and is torn between protecting his own son and returning to his old gang while being pursued by the police. Sangam Arts International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bhagwant Singh and G. L. Khanna. Samadhi is written by Mukhram Sharma and directed by Prakash Mehra. Samadhi was released on 22nd December 1972. The Film was successful at box office. Samadhi was made on a budget of ₹90 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹3 crore. The music was composed by R. D. Burman.
