Samaantar

The story follows Keshav Vaze, a wealthy businessman, who, despite his success, feels a deep sadness within himself, and on his 60th birthday, he embarks on a journey to find peace and is reminded of Shama, a woman from his past, leading him to reflect on their choices and explore the possibility of rekindling their lost love in the movie Samaantar. Samaantar is a 2009 Indian Marathi-language Drama motion picture featuring Amol Palekar, Sharmila Tagore, Radhika Apte, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Kishore Kadam, Aishwarya Narkar and Sandeep Mehta. BIG Pictures was the production house involved in the project. Samaantar is written by Sandhya Gokhale and directed by Amol Palekar. BIG Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Samaantar was released on 4th September 2009 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. Cinematography was done by Asim Bose and editing by Abhijeet Deshpande. The music was composed by Anand Modak.
