A CIA operative is accused of being a Russian spy and goes on a mission to clear her name and prevent a nuclear attack on the US, discovering her own past and confronting a conspiracy within the CIA along the way. Salt is a 2010 American English-language Action Crime film featuring Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Daniel Olbrychski, Andre Braugher, August Diehl and Paul D elia. Columbia Pictures in association with Di Bonaventura Pictures, Wintergreen Productions and Rainmaker Digital Effects. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Sunil Perkash. Salt is written by Kurt Wimmer and directed by Phillip Noyce. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Salt was released on 5th August 2010 and takes a screen time of 104 minutes. Salt was made on a budget of $110 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Robert Elswit and editing by Stuart Baird and John Gilroy. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.
