Nikhil and Ambar, two Indian immigrants in Australia, encounter each other at a wedding where Nick is the chef, but their true identities are initially hidden; they later fall in love, face challenges in their relationship due to Ambars pregnancy, but ultimately reconcile, get engaged, and have twins. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Salaam Namaste was released on 9th September 2005 and takes a screen time of 159 min.. The Film was successful at box office. Salaam Namaste was made on a budget of ₹11 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹26 crore. Cinematography was done by Sunil Patel and editing by Ritesh Soni.
