Rugma

The movie portrays the challenges and struggles of a single mother named Rugma who works hard to provide a better life for her daughter. Rugma is a 1983 Malayalam-language Drama film featuring Mammootty, Venu Nagavally, Raghuvaran, Seema Sasidaran, Charu Haasan, T.g. Ravi and Kanakalatha. The movie is inspired from Rugma by Chandrakala S. Kammath. Royal Movie Makers was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Cherupushpam Jose Kutty, Royal Achankunju and For Royal Movie Makers. Rugma is written by Thoppil Bhasi and M.b. Srinivasan and it is directed by P.g. Viswambharan and P. G. Viswambharan. Royal Movie Makers acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Rugma was released on 28th November 1983. Cinematography was done by C. E. Babu and editing by G. Venkittaraman. The music was composed by M. B. Sreenivasan.
