Rounders is a 1998 American English-language Crime Drama movie starring Matt Damon, Edward Norton, John Turturro, Famke Janssen, Gretchen Mol, John Malkovich and Vinny Vella. A young man is a reformed gambler who must return to playing big stakes poker to help a friend pay off loan sharks, while balancing his relationship with his girlfriend and his commitments to law school. Spanky Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Joel Stillerman and Ted Demme. Rounders is written by David Levien and Brian Koppelman and it is directed by John Dahl. Miramax Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The film has a running time of 121 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Rounders was made on a budget of $12 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $22 million. Cinematography was done by Jean-Yves Escoffier and editing by Scott Chestnut. The music was composed by Christopher Young.
