Two convicts disguised as priests in a village accidentally uncover the haunted history of the church theyre staying in, but manage to escape while leaving the villagers still believing in them. Romans is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Thriller film starring Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon, Niveda Thomas, Lalu Alex, Gayathri, Shivaji Guruvayoor and Nelson Sooranad. Chand V Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arun Ghosh and Bijoy Chandran. Romans is written by Y.v. Rajesh and Yv Rajesh and it is directed by Boban Samuel. Chand V Creations & Popcorn Entertainments acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Romans was released on 17th January 2013 and takes a screen time of 156 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Romans was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹20 crore. Cinematography was done by Vinod Illampally and editing by Lijo Paul. The music was composed by M Jayachandran along with Bijibal and Rajeev Alunkal.
