In a corporate-controlled future, an ultra-violent sport known as Rollerball represents the world, and one of its powerful athletes is out to defy those who want him out of the game. Rollerball is a 1975 English-language Action Sci-Fi film featuring James Caan, John Houseman, Maud Adams, John Beck, Moses Gunn, Ralph Richardson and Kevin Jewison. The movie is inspired from Roller Ball Murder by William Harrison. Rollerball was Produced by Norman Jewison. Rollerball is written by William Harrison and directed by Norman Jewison. United Artists acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Rollerball was released on 25th June 1975 and takes a screen time of 129 minutes. Rollerball was made on a budget of $70 million and at the box office it grossed only $25 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by William Harrison. Cinematography was done by Douglas Slocombe and editing by Antony Gibbs. The music was composed by Andr Previn.
