Two close friends, Ilango and Sriram, face various challenges in their lives as Ilango struggles to pursue his dream of starting a business and falls in love with Manohari, whom they both support and care for despite her mothers arranged marriage plans, leading to a separation when Mano moves to Mumbai for work, but ultimately they are happily reunited. Roja Kootam is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language Romance Comedy film starring Srikanth Krishnamachari, Bhoomika Chawla, Raghuvaran, Radhika Sarathkumar, Vivek, Jai Akash and Bava Lakshmanan. Roja Kootam was Produced by V. Ravichandran. The film is written and directed by Sasi. Aascar Film Pvt. Ltd acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Roja Kootam was released on 14th February 2002 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. Cinematography was done by M. V. Panneerselvam and editing by Peter Bhabiyaa. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Bharathwaj.
