A young waitress falls in love with a barback in 1987 Los Angeles, but their relationship is tested when a detached rock star is booked to perform at the club where they work. Rocky is a 2013 American Bengali-language Action Comedy film starring Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-jones, Malin Kerman and Somnath Panja. The movie is inspired from Rock of Ages by Chris D Arienzo. Rocky was Produced by Jennifer Gibgot, Garrett Grant, Carl Levin, Tobey Maguire, Scott Prisand, Dan Shafer and Matt Weaver. Rocky is written by Jeet Gannguli and directed by Sujit Mondal and Adam Shankman. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Rocky was released on 26th April 2013 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. Rocky was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Chris D Arienzo, Allan Loeb and Justin Theroux. Cinematography was done by Bojan Bazelli and editing by Emma E. Hickox. The music was composed by Jeet Ganguly along with Adam Anders and Peer Str M.
