Sun Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kalanidhi Maran and Kalanithi Maran. Enthiran is written by Madhan Karky, S. Shankar, Sujatha Rangarajan and Swanand Kirkire and it is directed by S. Shankar. Sun Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Enthiran was released on 30th September 2010 and takes a screen time of 177 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Enthiran was made on a budget of ₹132 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹290 crore. Cinematography was done by R. Rathnavelu and editing by Anthony.
