In the late 12th century, Richard the Lionheart leaves an evil Sheriff in charge of England while he visits France, prompting Robin to return from imprisonment in the Crusades and form an outlaw band to fight against the Sheriffs tyranny and uphold justice, ultimately leading to the defeat of the Sheriff and the return of King Richard.
