Year 1948, Bogota Colombia. Liberal presidential candidate Jorge Eliecer Gaitan is assasinated. Chaos seizes the city. Roa is a 2013 Spanish-language Drama film featuring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Kristen Stewart, Amy Adams, Tom Sturridge, Danny Morgan and Carlos Manuel Vesga. The movie is based on On the Road by Jack Kerouac. American Zoetrope in association with MK2, Film4, France T l visions, Canal+, Cin +, France 2 Cin ma and Vanguard Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Nathanael Karmitz, Charles Gillibert and Rebecca Yeldham. The movie is directed by Walter Salles. IFC Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Roa was released on 11th April 2013 and takes a screen time of 137-124 minutes. Roa was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹7 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jose Rivera. Cinematography was done by ric Gautier and editing by Fran ois G digier. The music was composed by Gustavo Santaolalla.
