Landcraft in association with Vijay Sirohi Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vijay Sirohi and Diwaker Singhal. Riyasat is written by Irfan Shaikh and directed by Ashok Tyagi. Manoj Nandwana of Jai Viratra Entertainment Limited acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Riyasat was released on 18th July 2014. Riyasat was made on a budget of ₹50 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹3 lakh. Cinematography was done by Akram Khan and editing by Irfan Shaikh. The music was composed by Hriju Roy along with Syyed Ahmed.
