Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a 2011 American English-language Action Drama motion picture featuring James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, David Oyelowo and Ian Gregson. The movie is based on Premise suggested by Planet of the Apes by Pierre Boulle. Chernin Entertainment in association with Dune Entertainment, Big Screen Productions and Ingenious Film Partners. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark. Rise of the Planet of the Apes is written by Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Pierre Boulle and it is directed by Rupert Wyatt. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Rise of the Planet of the Apes was released on 4th August 2011 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Rise of the Planet of the Apes was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $490 million. Cinematography was done by Andrew Lesnie and editing by Conrad Buff and Mark Goldblatt. The music was composed by Patrick Doyle.
