Codeblack Films in association with JuntoBox Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Philippe Caland, Nina Yang Bongiovi and Forest Whitaker. Repentance is written by Shintaro Shimosawa and Philippe Caland and it is directed by Philippe Caland. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the film. Repentance was released on 25th September 2014 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $1 million.
