Renegades

Renegades is a 1989 English-language Action Crime motion picture written by David Rich and directed by Jack Sholder and produced by David Madden, Robert W. Cort, Ted Field, J. Rickley Dumm, Gabriella Martinelli, Paul Schiff, Melissa Bachrach, James G. Robinson and Joe Roth under the banner of Morgan Creek Productions in collaboration with Interscope Communications. An undercover cop forms an alliance with a Native American to help him hunt down the criminals who stole an ancient Lakota tribal lance. Renegades stars Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Rob Knepper, Bill Smitrovich, Jami Gertz, Robert Knepper and T.j. Scott. The music was composed by Michael Kamen. Cinematography was done by Phil Meheux and editing by Caroline Biggerstaff. The film has a running time of 106 minutes. It was released on 2nd June 1989. Renegades was made on a budget of $16 million and at the box office it grossed only $9 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Universal Pictures.
