A retired CIA agent and his former associates go on a mission to uncover the truth behind a reporters death and their own assassination attempts, leading them to expose a corrupt Vice Presidents treachery and flee the country with a stolen nuclear device. RED is a 2010 American English-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Mary-louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Karl Urban and Chrysanthi Zora Michaelides. The movie is inspired from Red by Warren Ellis Cully Hamner. Di Bonaventura Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian. RED is written by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner and it is directed by Robert Schwentke. Summit Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. RED was released on 11th November 2010 and takes a screen time of 111 minutes. RED was made on a budget of $58 million and at the box office it grossed only $4 million. Cinematography was done by Florian Ballhaus and editing by Thom Noble. The music was composed by Christophe Beck.
